We support individuals & people in relationships to unlock opportunities for self-discovery & growth during difficult parts of their journey.

Private. Confidential. In-person & Online.

Pretending that you have it all figured out is the biggest obstacle to your growth & well-being.

We live in a culture that tells us we should be perfect. We should deal with pain quickly. We should not make mistakes. We should recover from disappointments and rise above relationships that don't work with ease. But the truth is that we are all struggling to make our way and none of us have a road map or manual.

You are not the bad things that happened to you or around you – even if you feel that way at times.

There is nothing wrong with you if you are experiencing challenges and you have not figured out how to move past them.  An honest, confidential, empathetic therapeutic alliance with a trained professional can help you make your way through the physical, emotional, and mental dimensions of difficult life expereinces

Here’s what the process looks like…

  • Once you request a consultation, we will schedule your 15-minute call with our Client Liaison. This session is offered at no cost. Kimbale will call you at the agreed time and have a brief conversation about the challenges you are experiencing. Your questions will be answered and Kimbale will share how we might help. From this conversation, you will get a glimpse into how we work. At that time, you will have the opportunity to schedule an appointment with one of our Therapists. If for any reason, we believe that we are not a good fit, we will find someone (who is really good at what they do) who can help you - getting help is more important than scheduling an appointment with us.

  • We will provide you with a secure link where you can read over our forms, fill out electronic consent forms, and submit personal history information securely. These steps really help us to be best prepared for our session so we can make the most of our time together. We offer both online and in-person sessions. Our typical sessions are 60 minutes long. You can schedule longer sessions if needed.

  • We work strictly by appointment. No walk-ins will be accommodated. Please understand that this is done to protect your privacy and give you the best service possible. There will be no lines, or running into other people when you get to our offices. We will show you our counselling room which is private and comfortable. We start by introducing ourselves, talking about confidentiality and briefly going over our policies. Of course, we address any questions you have about our services.

  • During this first session, we want to understand how you see your challenges, how it’s impacting your life, and what success will look like. We want to know what you want to change. It’s okay if you are not sure what the answers to these questions are - we will work with you to figure them out.

  • We will discuss options and make a decision about working together. If we decide to work together, we will make a tentative decision about how many sessions we schedule. During our sessions, we will consistently check in with you to ensure that we are on the right track. You will start feeling better and experience the benefits of your commitment to making small changes towards your best self. You will decide what is most helpful and how they apply to other areas of your life

  • Meeting your goals and having a plan to stay healthy are the two signposts that means it's time to say goodbye. Now, you may want to come back in the future so we will discuss why this may happen. We will say goodbye for now or forever - whichever one fits. :)
